By selling a T.V. for ₹ 8000, a shopkeeper loses 20% of his cost. If he sells it for ₹ 11,000, what profit or loss would be there for him(7th class math)
Loss% = 20 %
Let cost Price of T V = 100
then, Loss Rs. = 20% of 100
= 20/100 X 100
= 20 Rs.
S P of T V = Rs.(100 - 20)
= Rs.80
then C P of T V = 100/80 X 8000
= 10000 Rs.
According to question,
If he sells it for Rs.11000 then Profit.
Profit = (11,000 - 10,000)Rs.
= 1000 Rs.
Therefore profit Rs. 1000.
